In this session, the well-established and novel evidence for NIV in acute exacerbations of COPD will be reviewed , as well as areas where acute NIV delivery may be improved. There will be an overview of the evidence around the optimal ways of delivering nebulised therapy in acute exacerbations of COPD and finally, Dr Suh will discuss the benefits of high-flow therapy in COPD.
