Anne-Marie’s research interests are in patient centred approaches in the field of interstitial lung disease and specifically the development and testing of patient reported measures including patient experience and engagement, and outcome measures. She supports nurse led and regional clinics at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust, Anne Marie was a cofounder of the Interdisciplinary Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) network in 2015 which she co-chaired / chaired through to December 2018. She has held committee appointments at the American Thoracic Society and European Respiratory Society and was the lead for the scientific advisory board at EU-Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Federation from 2019-2021. She contributes to European and international guidelines and statement working groups. She is the author/co-author of numerous peer-reviewed publications in ILD and regularly conducts peer review.
