Respiratory Professional Care Speaker Faculty

My primary research interests are in patient-centred mixed-methods focussing on symptom experiences, supported self-management approaches, and patient reported measures in Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD). I collaborate nationally and internationally with clinical academics contributing to international guidelines through the American Thoracic and European Respiratory societies. I publish in open access peer review journals working with patient partners in research. A clinical academic, I work with the interdisciplinary team at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, regional ILD Service. I am a scientific advisory board member of the European Pulmonary fibrosis Foundation and Emeritus board member of the ILD Interdisciplinary Network.
