Beverley Bostock

Advanced Nurse Practitioner in long-term conditions, Mann Cottage Surgery
Bev works as an ANP in long term conditions in general practice and is also a PhD student researching adolescent asthma. Bev is the Asthma Lead for the for the Association of Respiratory. Beverley is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in general practice in Gloucestershire and serves as the Editor in Chief of the Practice Nurse journal. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) at St George’s Hospital, London, and earned a BSc in Professional Nursing Studies. She also completed two years of an advanced clinical practice MSc at Wolverhampton University. As an Independent Nurse Prescriber, Beverley holds an MSc in Respiratory Care and an MA in Medical Ethics and Law, along with a Post Graduate Award in Diabetes Therapeutics from Warwick University. Beverley’s educational experience includes developing modules in diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD) for an Open University-affiliated organization. She serves as an Expert Witness for a clinical negligence company and has been a Queen’s Nurse since 2015, recognizing her commitment to patient care. Currently, Beverley is the president elect for the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society and has contributed to key public health initiatives, including the CVDPREVENT project and guidance on preventing CVD during the pandemic. Additionally, she has been a Visiting Lecturer in behaviour change at Imperial College London for the MSc in Preventive Cardiology, demonstrating her leadership in healthcare education.
