Dr Catherine Heffernan has been the Principal Advisor for Commissioning Early Years, Immunisations and Vaccination Services at Public Health England (London), advising the Director of Public Health and Primary Care Commissioning at NHS England/Improvement (London Region) since 2013. She is currently on secondment to Public Health England’s National COVID-19 Advice and Guidance Team. She is a fellow of the Faculty of Public Health, an honorary Associate Professor at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Deputy Faculty Advisor for the Faculty of Public Health.
