Claire is a clinical specialist paediatric respiratory physiotherapist at Alder Hey children's hospital & a non-medical prescriber. Her specialist interests are in in asthma, breathing pattern disorder, exercise induced laryngeal obstruction, exercise & healthy living. Claire has published articles, contributed towards BTS guidelines & CYP asthma transformation projects and wrote chapters in books. She is a specialist teacher trainer in breathing pattern retraining using the Buteyko Method. Claire is also a founding member of the ‘Kids cornerstone collaborative’ to develop a standardised assessment proforma and training package in children & young people with asthma and/or dysfunctional breathing & progress clinical practice.
