Claire is a highly regarded practitioner in her specialist field of Respiratory Physiotherapy. She qualified in 1993 from Coventry University, specialised early on and then moved to New Zealand where she led the surgical physiotherapy team. On her return she became Respiratory Superintendent at RSCH in Guildford where she now enjoys part time work treating, primarily, dysfunctional breathing patterns. It was while Claire was working in NZ that she was introduced to the concept of Dysfunctional Breathing Patterns and techniques to treat them. She became passionate about this patient group which led her to Buteyko’s techniques. These now serve as the primary component of her treatment toolbox.
