Respiratory Professional Care Speaker Faculty

Michelle Duffy has been a respiratory nurse in NHS Highland since 1999, working in the community since 2010. She is a past chair of the Scottish Respiratory Nurse Forum and remains active in this. She is part of the Scottish Government Cross Party Group on Lung Health. She has been a Queen’s Nurse since 2017, focusing on the value of person centred care in Pulmonary Rehabilitation and supported self management. She is a strong advocate of using digital technology to support people with chronic respiratory conditions to access the information which enables them to be in control of their own health.
