He is a Senior Consultant with the respiratory medicine department at Medway NHS foundation Trust. Dr Banerjee has developed special interest in airway diseases and sleep medicine. Dr Banerjee completed his postgraduate training at the East of England Deanery which included a year of specialist training in respiratory and general internal medicine. He completed his MD (Research) from the University of Hertfordshire.
