Stuart Lightfoot
Physiotherapist Respiratory,
UHB
Having gained over 18 years of experience working in the field of Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) and Respiratory Outpatient Physiotherapy I have learned the importance of exercise promotion to impact both breathlessness and infection rates within the respiratory patient population. My experience in Pulmonary Rehabilitation has led me to work with both the Royal College of Physicians (PR accreditation) and the British Thoracic Society (PR advanced course) over recent years.
In addition to my work in Pulmonary Rehabilitation I am also involved in several local Bronchiectasis clinics and the regional Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia service. I also have an interest in breathing pattern disorders and have been a member of the Physiotherapy for Breathing Pattern Disorders group for a number of years now.
